About our Guest Speaker:
Robert Teh is Chief of the Economic Modelling and Quantitative Analysis Unit of the World Trade Organization (WTO) in Geneva. At the SJCC Shinnenkai he will present the latest forecast of the WTO regarding the development of global trade in 2019 with a special focus on Japan and East Asia.
Mr. Teh’s research interests include preferential trade agreements, trade facilitation, electric commerce, trade remedies, WTO dispute settlement, the effect of natural disasters on trade and trade policy modelling.
He obtained his PhD in economics from Stanford University.
