10th Anniversary! GINMAKU Japanese Film Festival 2024

For the upcoming 10 year anniversary edition, 14 films are planned to be screened.

We started our festival in 2014 and this year will be the big celebration!

​”GINMAKU” translates as “silver screen”.
A title that pays homage to the old masters and pioneers of Japanese film.
It’s our mission to build a long term cultural bridge between Switzerland & Japan.

Through our film festival, we would like to create opportunities to establish deeper friendship and mutual understanding.
