Jan Jenisch serves as Chairman and CEO of Amrize, the successful spin-off he orchestrated in 2025 from Holcim in a first-of-its-kind transaction that created a pure-play North American building materials leader listed on the NYSE and SIX.
He served as CEO of Holcim from 2017 to 2024 and as Chairman from 2023 to 2025, transforming the company into a global leader in innovative and sustainable building solutions. Under his leadership, Holcim executed over 130 M&A transactions and delivered a total shareholder return of 105%, double the concurrent Swiss Performance Index TSR of +52%.
From 1996 to 2017, he held several leadership roles at Sika, including CEO from 2012 to 2017 and President Asia Pacific from 2007 to 2011. He drove record performance in sales and profitability, secured Sika’s entry into the Swiss Market Index, and delivered TSR of 280% (CHF) versus 86% for the SPI.
Jan Jenisch obtained an MBA from the University of Fribourg (Switzerland) in 1993. In 2021, he received an honorary doctorate (Dr. h.c.) for his accomplishments as CEO of two SMI companies.
He serves as Vice President of the SJCC.
