An evening with Professor Yoshinori (Yoshi) Fujikawa

What if the key to global strategy is not simply where to compete, but who to co-create value with, where, and how?

Drawing on his article in the September 2026 issue of I by IMD, Professor Yoshi Fujikawa challenges conventional firm-centric and country-by-country approaches to global strategy. Through examples from Japanese and global companies, he explores how organizations can rethink who they co-create value with, where to start, and how to connect innovation ecosystems across markets to accelerate learning and global rollout.

For Swiss and Japanese businesses, both of which have built global success on deep expertise, quality, and long-term partnerships, this view raises timely questions. Which ecosystems should we be part of? How do we connect strengths across borders? What does this mean for the next generation of leaders?

SJCC and SJCC Young Professionals are delighted to invite you to IMD. Join us for an inspiring talk, an open discussion, and networking with the Swiss-Japanese business community.
