Company Visit: FANUC Switzerland

SJCC had the pleasure of visiting FANUC Switzerland in Biel/Bienne, a subsidiary of the Japanese FANUC Group, one of the world’s leading companies in factory automation, robotics, and CNC technology.

The visit offered a valuable opportunity to explore FANUC ’s innovative product portfolio, including industrial robots, CNC systems, and advanced factory automation solutions, and to gain a closer look at how these technologies are applied in modern manufacturing.

It also provided insights into the close relationship between FANUC Switzerland and its headquarters in Japan. By combining global technological expertise and continuous innovation with local market knowledge and close customer relationships, FANUC develops solutions that are helping shape the future of manufacturing.

The event was opened by Martin Herb, President of SJCC. A special thank you to H.E. Toshiro Iijima, Ambassador of Japan to Switzerland and Liechtenstein, for joining the event and sharing his welcome remarks.

SJCC would also like to express its thanks to Stéphane Perret, Managing Director of FANUC Switzerland, for his warm welcome, as well as to Cyril Amez, Business Development Leader, Antoine Ferrari, Sales Manager, and the entire FANUC Switzerland team for their hospitality, insightful product presentations, and inspiring discussions.

The visit was a valuable opportunity to exchange ideas, strengthen Japan–Switzerland ties, and deepen SJCC’s understanding of innovation in automation and manufacturing.
